hoppy easter
13Apr09

Well, belated Easter. Things have been kinda crazy around here–holidays, massive hangovers, some changes at work, plus packing up for a move at the end of the month. (My kitchen is a mess–you don’t even want to know.) Just a quick check in, hoping everyone had a great holiday filled with yummy food (what did you eat?!) and fantastic family. (And if your family is as un-fantastic as the current hangover I’m nursing, I hope you at least substituted your dozen eggs with a 12-pack.) And a big shout out to the Easter Bunny for being so rockin’ and gifting my child with the coolest basket stuffer ever–Santiago the Easter Pelican. The kid loves that thing. Well, at least until tomorrow…

Where did you get that pelican?! That’s hilarious! Easter was good…always like having leftovers although the ham stir fry hubby made last night was a little weird. Baked a ham, made au gratin potatoes from scratch (they were GOOD), Ginger-Honey Carrots, Green Beans w/ Pancetta, salad. The usual stuff. Our 2 year old wasn’t into the bunny/egg thing yet. When the Easter Bunny came up to her in Costco last weekend she just looked at him like “Who the hell’s this guy?” LOL
I got that fantabulous little pelican and this saucy little store called Walmart.
And I’m glad your potatoes turned out so well. I made the same thing and they were fantaaaaastic, if I do say so myself.
I have a 2 1/2 yr old and I’m about sick of seeing all her stuff all over the place! UGH!!!!
Haha, I can count the number of toys I’ve bought my son on my fingers. I leave gift giving up to other people–it really cuts down on the clutter. Anyway, he’s perfectly happy with a shoe box and a spatula. I’m broke, and he makes do with what he has haha.
oy, you know whats good for a Easter hangover? A morning margarita…while I partook to drinking 3 bottles of wine (and later returning it all on some dudes lawn) for Passover (you know, that silly Jew holiday where they don’t eat any bread) , the only cure last Friday morning (or more like 2:00pm when I woke up) was a margarita…college is great :-)
that has got to be the coolest pelican! I wouldn’t need to be Parker’s age to enjoy that toy myself!
Wait, you wait for holidays to drink three bottles of wine? Kudos on the self restraint.
I miss college. Live it up. ;)
Haha, my dad thought it was quite entertaining himself. Couldn’t catch his breath, he was laughing so hard.
Fine girl….I’ll just mail Parker all Morgan’s toys. That will clean up my clutter around here! LOL
