The High Rise Glorious Skittle Skat Roarious Sky Pie Angel Food Cake.

http://www.amazon.com/High-Glorious-Skittle-Roarious-Angel/dp/0152343326

My favorite book of all time (never noticed that most of my favorites have to do with eating).

Your blog is great! Always thought you should be a writer, ever since Fluffy. Hope it gets big.

Okay so one of my favorite food books for kids is "Peat's a Pizza" Very cute story about a boy who is sad he cannot play with his friends because it is raining outside and his parents make him into a pizza! Very fun and I am sure that Parker would love to become a pizza after reading it!

:)

Heather: Adorable books. But what about Tootie and her Scootie? Or Heather and her zephyr? Or... yeah that's all I got. Those are bad enough as it is.

Shelley: I laughed at the Wiki entry. Step by step photos? For egg and rice? Really? I guess not everyone is as in the know as we are. ;)

Hey there,

Tamago gohan - a no-cook casserole! Love the stuff. Love. Am also loving the fact that Wikipedia actually has an entry - and provides the recipe. With step-by-step pictures . . .

Anyway, your son is going to always equate tamago gohan with affection and care-giving.

Thanks for such an entertaining blog.

Ok ok, so this is totally the perfect moment and place for me to share with you a book series that may spark the interest of the little ones who love their bike!
My boyfriend is the author of a children's book collection called Mike and the Bike! It's about a boy named Mike who loves to ride his bike (which I'm sure you gathered). But what is edgier about these books is not only does it have super kick@ss illustration, but it comes with a music & narration CD! So kids can listen along while Phil Liggett (Tour de France commentator) dramatically tells the story of Mike, and the accompanying songs are sung by a real life kid. It's been doing pretty well with the kids I must say. There's also an interactive website for kids to play games on. I think "Beat Lance" is one of the funnier games. It's pretty cute. And there are sample songs on the site too, so I have a feeling Parker would love the site. The second book introduces a girl character that I'm not saying may be loosely based off of yours truly. But again, I'm nor saying that. ;-)

Let me know what you think! And I really hope you're drinking gallons of water out there!

luv,
Heather
